MOU

 

Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Department of Management Studies and Entrepreneurship Development Cell with Kaay Innovation and Xander Media Group on 27.10.2022 at their office.Mr.Sudarsan Babu, Director - Kaay Innovation, Mr.Nithin Alexander, Founder - Xander Media Group, Dr.K.Sentamilselvan - Head of the Department and Entrepreneurship Development Cell-Head were the signatories of MoU. The MoU signing was initiated and coordinated by Mrs.A.UmaDevi, Assistant Professor and E-Cell Coordinator,MBA.

INDUSTRIAL VISIT TO -HATSUN AGRO PRODUCT LTD, KANCHEEPURAM PLANT-MBA -2ND YEAR - SEC-1- 21-23 BATCH

 

The students were accompanied by Dr. J. Anand, Assistant Professor - MBA visited the Hatsun Agro Product Ltd which carries out the production of Arokya milk,

The plant has a total capacity of 4 lakh liters per day. It is 24 hours functioning plant with 2 shifts working 12 hours each. We were able to observe that fire extinguishers placed for every 50m.  They produce four types of milk in this plant namely toned milk, standardized milk, full creamed milk and skimmed milk.

INDUSTRIAL VISIT TO DIAMOND ENGINEERING PRIVATE LTD-MBA 2 -SEC -2 YEAR -21-23

 

The entire batch of 2^nd year MBA section 2 comprising of 57 budding managers and future entrepreneurs visited the steel fabrication plant to gain practical exposure to fabrication process, management skills and functions. The students were accompanied by Dr.K.Guru, Assistant Professor and Mrs.A.Umadevi, Assistant Professor Major expansions are underway with plans to have automated machinery installed for streamlined production.. 

INDUSTRIAL VISIT REPORT -AAVIN, AMBATTUR- 1st Year MBA -2022-2024

 

The milk and involves heating of milk to 72°c for 15 mins and then cooling it down to 4°c. This process kills all pathogenic bacteria present in the milk making.  

GUEST LECTURE ROAD AHEAD IN LOGISTICS AND SUPPLYCHAIN MANAGEMENT-13.9.22

Importance and impact of logistics and suppy chain in current industrial scenario, evolution of SCM, Concepts like last-minute delivery,

drivers of supply chain along with live industry examples (ZEPTO, DUNZO) was discussed.

Moreover, how these drivers are used in the design, planning and operation of supply chainwas

emphasized.

 

NAAC NATIONAL SEMINAR- QUALITY ENHANCEMENT SUSTENANCE MEASURES IN HIGHER EDUCATION -10.09.22

 Chief Guest Dr. K. Pandian addressed on the need of Quality Enhancement Measures in Higher Education Institutions highlighting the objectives and the role of Internal Quality Assurance Cell in driving quality initiatives in the institution.

Chief Guest Dr. S. Balamurugan,  Associate Professor, Department of Educational Psychology, Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University, Chennai discussed on Innovation, Trends and Challenges involved for Quality Enhancementand Sustenance Measures.

Chief Guest Dr. A. Mariappan, Associate Professor, Department of Economics, Loyola College, Chennai, addressed the participants on NAAC Online Assessment andAccreditation Process highlighting the various criteria in NAAC Accreditation. 

Dr. S. Hemamalini, Professor, School of EEE, Joint Director, Directorate of Ranking & IOE, VIT, Chennai addressing on the title Role of Teachers in Enhancing the Quality of HEIs.

Industrial visit- Innovative Codes (I) Pvt. Ltd -MBA Faculty -03.09.22

 An was organised for the faculty members of the Department of Management Studies on 03.09.2022 (Saturday). 5 Faculty Members from the Department went for the Industrial Visit. (Dr. M. Ganesan @ Kanagaraj, Dr. S. Raja, Dr. K. Guru, Mr. K.Suresh, Mr. B. Sam Paul)

The Company, ICIPL has strong connection with the various types of customers such Pharma, Cable,Electrical, FMCG, Cement, Dairies, Beverages,market in India as well as abroad.The company has signed business deal with Chinese, Korean and Vietnam Original Product manufacturers and ready to support its Indian as well as neighbouring countries customers with their CIJ, TIJ, TTO, DOD products, its consumables, Spares etc.

The company has the following product lines that includes;

1. Continuous Inkjet Printers (CIJ)& Consumables

2. Thermal Inkjet Printers (TIJ)& Consumables

3. Drop in Demand (DOD) and Large Character Printers

4. Thermal Transfer Options and Consumables.

5th Day - FDP - Prof & Head, Dept. of Economics, SIVET College-Third Dimension in Higher Education

 Dr.T.Balasaravanan in his lecture addressed the participants on importance and development needed in higher education, its starts with people education, organization and discipline, without these three all resources remain latent, it is untapped potential. 

Day 4 -FDP-Mr. Vallinayagam.T Member of CII -IL Academic Advisory Board- ‘Emerging Technology Trends and Challenges in Manufacturing and Logistics Service Providers and IT Education”

 Mr. Vallinayagam.T in his lecture addressed the participants on the Micro and Macro analysis of Supply Chain Management current technology, Integrated Reengineered Value Chain in 4.0 Era Technology Management.

3rd Day FDP - Dr. B. Devamaindhan, Professor, ‘Emerging Trends and Challenges in Management and IT Education”

 

Dr. Devamaindhan in his lecture addressed the participants on the various updated Models which is available in Management field and listed the challenges to overcom.

2nd Day FDP - Dr. Y. Lokeswara Choudary Assistant Professor -SCM and Logistics

 

On the second day FDP was chaired  Dr. Y. Lokeswara Choudary Assistant Professor, Dept. of Commerce, Govt. Arts College for Men, Chennai delivered a lecture on ‘SCM and Logistics”. The lecture was focused towards introducing the concepts of Logistics and the relevance of Supply Chain Management in Global scenario in today’s context.

1st FDP - Dr.S Meena kumari Director AU TVS -Business sustainability practices

 

 session was started by Dr. S Meenakumari, Director, AUTVS CQM, Coordinator CEG MBA Distance Education, Anna University, Chennai and delivered a lecture on ‘Sustainability’.

Dr. Meenakumari, gave a critical review on Business sustainability practices for operating businesses that don’t impact the environment negatively also in his lecture it differentiated the sustainability and unsustainability concepts and the green business follows a sustainable business model that operates in the best interest of the environment, locally and globally.
