PRESS NOTE ON EXPERT TALK IN THE TITLED “FINANCIAL LITERACY AND INVESTMENT BASICS “
Department of Management Studies, SRM Valliammai Engineering College (Autonomous), Kattankulathur in association with Institution Innovation Council (IIC) and Industry Institution Partnership Cell (IIPC) organized a EXPERT TALK IN THE TITLED “FINANCIAL LITERACY AND INVESTMENT BASICS “ on 19th August 2025. The essence of the event focused on initiating the awareness in the Financial Literacy and Investment Basics among students and the strategies to implement such valuable goals.
Mr. Veni Royston , Vice – President, Choice Equity Broking Pvt Ltd, Chennai was the Chief guest of the Workshop.
Dr. Venkata Sai Srinivasa Rao Muramalla, Professor & Head of the Department, Department of Management Studies, SRM Valliammai Engineering College (Autonomous) was the convener of the event and welcomed the Dignitaries, Chief Guest, Guest of Honour and the participants. He rendered thanks to the Management, Director and Principal for their support and motivation in organizing the event. Dr. D. Mohanraj, Assistant Professor (Sr.G) was the coordinator of the event briefed about the Workshop. This event aimed to provide a platform for students to showcase their interest towards the financial literacy and investment basics make the effective implementation plan for their lives.
The fact that such initiatives are being introduced by the department indicated a shift towards innovative and experiential learning approach, which is a positive development for upcoming future of students.
