He rendered thanks to the Management, Director and Principal for their support and motivation in organizing the event.
The morning session of the workshop was led by Mr. M. P. Madhavapriyan, who delivered an inspiring and insightful talk on communication, confidence, and mindset. He began with a story about the lion, explaining that the lion is considered the king of the forest not because of its strength, but because of its confidence. Through this, he emphasized the importance of self-belief.
He then spoke about communication, explaining that it is not merely about language, but about expressing oneself effectively to get things done. He illustrated this with the story of a newborn baby that communicates its needs through sounds — proving that communication is a natural and essential part of achieving outcomes. Mr. Madhavapriyan also shared a humorous story about an IT engineer and his wife to highlight the importance of expressing oneself clearly to avoid misunderstandings.
Through an engaging activity, he showed how people often fall into self-limiting thought patterns, like assuming there are 100 fingers in 10 hands instead of 50. He used this to explain how conditioning affects our way of thinking.
He further stated that MBA is just an entry ticket — real success depends on the right combination of Attitude (A), Skills (S), and Knowledge (K). He concluded by redefining LUCK as the meeting point of alertness with opportunities, motivating students to stay proactive and open-minded.
At the end of the session, he opened the forum for an interactive question-and-answer segment, where students eagerly asked about the essential skills needed for various fields, career transitions, and job opportunities. Mr. Madhavapriyan responded to each question with clarity and insight, making the discussion highly engaging and valuable. Overall, it was a thought-provoking and motivating session that left a lasting impression on everyone.
