ORIENTATION PROGRAM - I MBA - Batch 2023-25

 

Department of Management Studies has conducted orientation program for I year MBA students batch 2023-25(19th Batch) on 04.09.2023 & 05.09.2023. The aim of the program was to provide a comprehensive introduction to the MBA degree and to help students to settle in their academic journey. The sessions were scheduled for two days with an objective to provide overview about the MBA program, college, academic excellence, career development and extra curricular activities. The program was coordinated by Mrs.A.UmaDevi, Assistant Professor(Sr.G) & Dr.J.Anand, Assistant Professor(Sr.G).






 The forenoon session on 04.09.2023 was handled by Dr.K.Sentamilselvan, Associate Professor & Head, who welcomed the students. He has briefed about the stucture of MBA program along with academic policies and procedures, facilities in the campus, library services.



 Mr.Venkatesh, Head Placement have addressed students with regard to the placement activities of the college. He has also created an awareness about self orientation towards placement for students. The afternoon session was handled by Mrs.A.UmaDevi, AP/MBA. She has given insights about the program and how to inculcate skills towards growth orientation in one’s career. Identified best performing students of final year MBA have shared their industry internship experiences, academic performance and their participation in out bound activities. 




On 05.09.2023, an insightful session on career development was given Mrs.Rajalakshmi Srinivasan, Director - Product Management, ZOHO corporation, Chennai. She has given interesting facts on mindfulness for the current  generation to cope with competition. She has also motivated students to maintain good health for better living. The afternoon session was handled by Dr.K.Latha, Associate Professor, MBA on building up positive attitude among students. She has given valuable insights and its potential impact on careers. Mrs.Sathya.G, AP/MBA and Mrs.Subashree, AP/MBA have addressed students on the aspects of Professional development. All the sessions had given a hope among students that the knowledge gained will serve as a catalyst for their Career growth.
