Industrial visit- Innovative Codes (I) Pvt. Ltd -MBA Faculty -03.09.22
An was organised for the faculty members of the Department of Management Studies on 03.09.2022 (Saturday). 5 Faculty Members from the Department went for the Industrial Visit. (Dr. M. Ganesan @ Kanagaraj, Dr. S. Raja, Dr. K. Guru, Mr. K.Suresh, Mr. B. Sam Paul)
The Company, ICIPL has strong connection with the various types of customers such Pharma, Cable,Electrical, FMCG, Cement, Dairies, Beverages,market in India as well as abroad.The company has signed business deal with Chinese, Korean and Vietnam Original Product manufacturers and ready to support its Indian as well as neighbouring countries customers with their CIJ, TIJ, TTO, DOD products, its consumables, Spares etc.

Dr.T.Balasaravanan in his lecture addressed the participants on importance and development needed in higher education, its starts with people education, organization and discipline, without these three all resources remain latent, it is untapped potential.
Day 4 -FDP-Mr. Vallinayagam.T Member of CII -IL Academic Advisory Board- ‘Emerging Technology Trends and Challenges in Manufacturing and Logistics Service Providers and IT Education”
Mr. Vallinayagam.T in his lecture addressed the participants on the Micro and Macro analysis of Supply Chain Management current technology, Integrated Reengineered Value Chain in 4.0 Era Technology Management.
3rd Day FDP - Dr. B. Devamaindhan, Professor, ‘Emerging Trends and Challenges in Management and IT Education”
Dr. Devamaindhan in his lecture addressed the participants on the various updated Models which is available in Management field and listed the challenges to overcom.
2nd Day FDP - Dr. Y. Lokeswara Choudary Assistant Professor -SCM and Logistics
On the second day FDP was chaired Dr. Y. Lokeswara Choudary Assistant Professor,
Dept. of Commerce, Govt. Arts College for Men, Chennai delivered a lecture on ‘SCM
and Logistics”. The lecture was focused towards introducing the concepts of Logistics
and the relevance of Supply Chain Management in Global scenario in today’s context.
1st FDP - Dr.S Meena kumari Director AU TVS -Business sustainability practices
session was started by Dr. S Meenakumari, Director,
AUTVS CQM, Coordinator CEG MBA Distance Education, Anna University, Chennai and
delivered a lecture on ‘Sustainability’.
Dr. Meenakumari, gave a critical review on Business sustainability practices for operating businesses that don’t impact the environment negatively also in his lecture it differentiated the sustainability and unsustainability concepts and the green business follows a sustainable business model that operates in the best interest of the environment, locally and globally.

Managing Workplace Relationship” for Non-Teaching Staff
The
Session was handled by Dr.Anand.J,
A.P/MBA. He has explained about the importance and need of the workplace
relationship in the current scenario. Managing relationships at work are an
aspect one cannot ignore. Building positive relationships at the workplace is
vital for a successful career. The entire session was interactive. The
participants were involved in activities and their involvement and
encouragement had given a great success to the program. In this program 15
programmers from various departments were participated and benefited.
ADVERTISEMENT AND CAMPAIGNS
Department of Management Studies in association with Institution’s Innovation Council has conducted workshop on “Advertisement and Campaigns” on 01.07.2022 . The workshop was conducted by Mr. Ajith Selvaraju , Founder and Executive manager of N’kisi Institute of Training.This workshop has been an enlightening session for students to understand the nuances of advertising concept various marketing strategies and digital marketing trend approaches followed by different organizations. The students were able to learn new and incredible Business strategies of various companies including top brands of the world.
YOUTH ENTREPRENEURSHIP: AN INITIATIVE FOR BETTER CAREER OPTION
Department of Management Studies in association with Institution’s Innovation Council and Entrepreneurship Development Cell has conducted Online Entrepreneurship Awareness Program titled “Youth Entrepreneurship : An Initiative for better Career Option” on 29.06.2022.
The program was conducted for UG students from various arts and sciences colleges across TamilNadu.
The first session was delivered by Dr.Shalini Sharma, Assistant Professor, Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University, Government of NCT of Delhi and emphasized on the need and importance of Entrepreneurship. She has given insights about the steps to be taken in the entrepreneurial journey with real time examples.
The Second session was delivered by Dr.E.Bhaskaran, Joint Director(Engineering) & General Manager, Department of Industries & Commerce, MSME, Government of TamilNadu. He has given elaborate views on the various schemes provided by TamilNadu Government from the stage of ideation to entrepreneurial training. He has briefed about the schemes for funding and launching of firms eg. UDAYAM scheme.
